This is the only pre-workout you need. All the flavors I tried are good and it contains essential vitamins along with creatine, caffeine, and Beta-Alanine. This stuff really helps me power through my 2.5 hour workouts that include both cardio and weight lifting. It helps me stay focused but also provides me with a boost of energy and it really doesn't make me feel tingly or jittery. I've tried several other brands including optimum nutrition pre workout, Ghosht,Kaged and to me the C4 tastes better and is more reasonably priced.

I can't be sure but the updated product seems to have a better taste. The effect or feeling of the effect is the same as with the pervious version. Overall, the updated line of C4 has better choices of flavors and it seems to taste better for the flavors that were there before (orange).
