This powder is an absolute life saver for me. When I have stomach problems or a sore throat I take 1/4 of a teaspoon dissolved in water and it works so well. Just be sure to take it two hours away from any (prescription) drugs or herbs. Capsules are easier, but buying the powder is very economical since it will last you a long time and you don’t have to worry for any unwanted additives

I have colonic inertia. Chronic constipation. Hardly anything works for me except Slippery Elm!! Depending on how severe you are is depending on how much you need. I take 1 tbsp. But wouldn't take regular. you don't want to get too used to it. it also helps soothe my irritated leaky gut!

If you don't have a herbalist or apothecary store near you it is often difficult to find Slippery Elm Bark. I find it much gentler than other remedies for GI issues. Just remember to drink extra water when taking it!

It tastes good actually but i only put half a teaspoon to a full glass of warm water and wait for 15 minutes then drink it all within 5 minutes

Heritage Store Slippery Elm Bark very good for improving gut flora, digestion and elimination..!! This Slippery Elm has a silky smooth composition and is easy to mix with water and drink. Add 1 tsp to a glass, then slowly stir in water, then drink it down. You can also add to smoothies. I highly recommend this product as well as iHerb for distribution.

I've been taking slippery elm bark for over 30 years for ulcerative colitis. This slippery elm works great. Is very comparable to what I was buying at local herbal store.
