I feel that their charcoal range is better for oily skin in general. A good product but didn't match my skin. PS I LOVE NOW FOODS. It has been voted one of the top 10 brands of 2021 - VeryWellFit says it is "a budget-friendly choice that does not skimp on purity or quality of products, their manufacturing process is cGMP and they were one of the first manufacturers in 2000 to seek GMP certification - maintaining an A rating since then." I'm so glad i found this brand on Iherb!

Really great cleaner and the price is fantastic too. It’s a nice gel consistency, not watery or either too gluggy. Cleans my face without making it feel really dry

Its a very nice face wash,very gentle on the sensitive skin and it also moisturize. I loved it,i used it frequently, twice a day. The size of the package was very good,compared for the price

Very pleasant scent of pear blossom. It leaves the skin feeling soft and not dry. I think I will get the charcoal detox moisturizer next.

This is already my second purchase, this facial soap cleans thoroughly and gives a pleasant and clean feeling. The soap is very liquid, foams quickly.

As with all NOW products this one is very economical while being satisfactory in its results. I bought this for summer time use. I started using it last month. I have combi skin but in the humid climate I live in plus being coated in sunscreen it’s easy to feel so grimy. I turned to this gel cleanser with charcoal for something more heavy duty without being overly drying. At first I wasn’t so happy with it - it comes out very runny. Shake well before each use! The charcoal particles settle at the bottom. It’s consistency isn’t gel-like coming out of the bottle but I must say the more you massage it into the skin the more you feel it’s gel-like quality. It’s very pleasant on the skin, just glides along as it absorbs grease and whisks away dirt. I don’t wear makeup but it effectively takes off my sunscreen & the occasional added layer of CC cream. It can be a little drying (I leave it on the skin while I shower to get the benefits of the charcoal), so I advise to tone/moisturize soon after, preferably while skin is still damp. Now after weeks of use I can say I’m happy with it, it’s kept my skin clean & healthy, my pores haven’t enlarged as they tend to do in the summertime. Zero breakouts. This’ll be my go-to PM cleanser in these warmer months. Thanks iherb!

The consistency is quite liquid, which complicates the use, the funds simply flow through your fingers. The skin cleanses well, gives a feeling of cleanliness and freshness, but because of the consistency, the impression is slightly spoiled, and the packaging gets dirty very quickly, which looks unsightly. Perhaps I will order the product again, because the price-quality ratio is decent.

Not very thick, so spreads easily. Not a fan of the scent (a bit antiseptic-medicinal) and thought it made my skin dryer and tighter-feeling than I would like.

I didn’t really like it. The scent and texture are ok but not for my taste. I had trouble with it being black… It’s a good value for money if you like it- very big quantity for practically nothing, and comfortable packaging. Just wasn’t for me
