I recently purchased some bacopa monnieri, and on the same day, I started experiencing drowsiness, stomach cramps, and diarrhea for 3 days while taking it. I didn't know what was causing these symptoms, but they went away when I stopped taking the supplement. Should I continue taking it and will the stomach issues stop, or should I just stop taking the product altogether?

Having taken Bacopa before, I only experienced marginal benefits as far as memory and mental acuity so I decided to try this one based on it has a higher percentage of bacosides. The one I used in the past was from NOW, which caused no issues. For whatever reason, this had the exact opposite effect. It seemed to make me sleepy and sluggish, and not as mentally dialed in. I tend to do better with Swanson's Arjuna Bark for mental acuity.
